Classic cuisine
Chez Georges on the Rue du
Mail in Paris is amazing. It's
very old school: sweetbreads,
foie gras, steak tartare - all the

ROMAN SPLENDOUR
The Rome Cavalieri is an amazing palace
where you're treated like royalty. I went
with my daughter, she loved it. The hotel
is on a hill overlooking Rome, so you
can see the whole of the city from
your balcony. It's spectacular.
ABROAD AT HOME
I love the wilderness of Scotland,
I like the green, the water
coming down the mountains…
You can just stop by a loch and
have some really fresh oysters
and langoustines. I love the
fact that it's the UK but it's a
dierent country altogether;
you feel like you're abroad.
ISLAND IDYLL
My summer holiday is going to be renting
a cottage on the Ile de Ré [an island o
the west coast of France]. I love it there,
it's very relaxing. I buy oysters, do some
barbecuing, drink the local wine - it's nice.
DAILY SPORT
I never go away without my
shorts and my trainers, so I can
do sport wherever I am. And
my jumping rope, so I can skip.
I try to exercise every day.
Simply the best
One of the best hotels I've been to is Le
Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire, it
really is amazing. Nothing touches Le Manoir.
When you walk in, it's like being on a magic
carpet, you just float. belmond.com
