mixer

When you hear the name

Schweppes, you're no

doubt thinking of the

go-to mixer brand - the

ginger ale you mix with

your whisky, the stalwart

tonic accompanying your gin. And rightly so,

as this is a reputation well deserved, acquired

during the company's long history producing

mixers, cordials and lemonade. But now

Schweppes is gearing up to oer discerning

consumers a new range of

dependable, legitimate,

standalone soft drinks too.

Not every occasion is

a drinking occasion, and

adults are increasingly

choosing to drink mixers

instead of always electing

for the boozy option. Up until now, if you

were having a night o the alcohol, your

options at the bar were severely limited. Pint

of orange and lemonade, anyone?

Sophisticated selection

But that's a thing of the past, thanks to the

introduction of new straight drink variants

Schweppes Sparkling Juices. These delicately

combine fruit juices and natural …avours with

lightly sparkling Champagne-like bubbles,

or 'Schweervescence'. And with three

avours to choose from - Grapefruit ‰ Blood

Orange, Orange ‰ Cranberry, and Lemon ‰

Elder…ower - there's something for everyone,

and for every occasion too.

All three are both fresh and reŽned, and

created with an adult palate in mind. They're

particularly well suited to summer and of

course, thanks to that lightness and freshness,

they're an ideal and versatile accompaniment

to food, whether that's at an elegant dinner

table or a more casual BBQ.

And the packaging couldn't be better

suited to these grown-up soft drink occasions

either. Schweppes Sparkling Juices come in

elegant and stylish glass bottles, available in

both 750ml and 275ml sizes, as well as 330ml

cans. Plus, there's no need to worry about

that waistline - these sparkling juices are one

of the lowest-calorie

drinks on the market,

clocking in at 20kcal

per 100ml. All that to

oer, and no added

preservatives either.

This new range

demonstrates that

Schweppes is not just the master of mixers,

but of the standalone soft drink too, though

it's no surprise that the company has hit

the nail quite so squarely on the head with

these products. It does, after all, have a solid

232 years of experience under its belt, and

remains the UK's number one mixer brand.

That's a long time spent combining taste

proŽles perfectly tailored for an adult palate.

Centuries of experience

Innovation has always been a part of that

history. Back in 1783, founder Johann Jacob

Schweppe created the Žrst industrial

process to capture bubbles in a drink, and

Schweppes's Soda Water was born. Similarly,

the company has been producing Indian

Tonic Water since 1870, for which generations

of G‰T drinkers owe a huge debt of gratitude.

As these new Sparkling Juices prove,

Schweppes continues to create excellent soft

drinks for the adult palate, hundreds of years

later. And as a part of the new Sparkling Juices

launch, the brand has been brought bang

up to date, with a decidedly younger, more

modern image. As Schweppes so accurately

describes their new oerings: 'Grown up

tastes for grown up palates.'

This trio of new products means you'll

never be stuck for a proper soft drink again,

so keep an eye out for the new Schweppes

Sparkling Juices this summer.

MORE THAN A

Schweppes has always been the nal word when it comes to

accompanying spirits, but it's now the brand to turn to when you

want a soft drink too. Introducing new Schweppes Sparkling Juices

The variants

The brand-new Schweppes Sparkling Juices

come in three striking avours, namely

Grapefruit & Blood Orange, Orange & Cranberry

and Lemon & Elderower.

The rst, Grapefruit & Blood Orange, is an

interesting combination of ripe citrus fruit with

the sharp tang of grapefruit, while the Orange

& Cranberry provides an alluring blend of sweet

and sour fruit. Meanwhile, the light Lemon &

Elderower is the most delicate and refreshing

of all, with bright citrus notes accompanied by

a hint of elderower - a grown-up lemonade.

These are made to work beautifully when

served on their own, but if you decide that you

do want to indulge in an alcoholic drink after

all, they will also serve as fantastic mixers for a

wide range of spirits, creating an entirely new

drinking experience with old favourites.

There's no doubt new Schweppes Sparkling

Juices have been created to meet the needs of a

modern, sophisticated adult palate.
