WATCH SPECIAL
HAMILTON PANEUROP
The Pan-Europ of 1971 was
among the world's rst
self-winding chronographs.
This re-issue has the original
version's cushion case but
features Hamilton's new H-30
three-hand, self-winding
calendar mechanism with 80
hours of power reserve. The
retro look is completed with a
choice of grey or blue dials and
a classic, perforated leather
driver's strap. A more practical
(but less appealing) textile
version is also available.

SEVEN FRIDAY M101
Seven Friday is a two-year-old, Zurich-based
brand that is attracting attention with its range
of distinctive, Chinese-made watches powered by
Japanese mechanical movements. The new M1 and
M2 models feature chunky, 47mm cases, left-side
crowns - and no hands. Instead, they use a system
of three rotating discs to display the time, with the
outer showing hours, the middle minutes and the
inner seconds. £995; sevenfriday.com
RAYMOND WEIL TOCCATA
Raymond Weil, who sadly died
at the beginning of this year,
established his eponymous
watch brand in 1976 with the
object of proving that luxury
watches don't have to be
ultra-expensive. His founding
ethos still prevails today, as
demonstrated in the new
Toccata models, which are
available in 38 or 42mm case
sizes and with a choice of black,
white, or blue dials on leather
straps or metal bracelets.

TONINO LAMBORGHINI SPYDER
The distinctive-looking Spyder chronograph from
Tonino Lamborghini features a triangular-shaped
crystal and dial design that was inspired by the
radically shaped windscreens of Lamborghini's
modern-day supercars. The chunky, PVD-coated
case contains a high-quality, Swiss-made quartz
movement, while the dial, push-pieces and bezel
feature some appropriately sporty red detailing.
