Burgers aside, his heart clearly lies with
lighter bites, as Savour is his second book
on salads in a decade. � is beautifully
photographed update o� ers a � exible
approach, with many recipes � agged as
being suitable as starters, mains or sides. I found the carrot,
Manchego, orange and agave syrup salad overly sweet and
lacking texture, although the method was straightforward.
� e abundance of great-looking recipes (for veggies and
meat-eaters alike) could lure me back, but be warned, many
ingredients are not easy to � nd, so planning is essential.
