THE SPA AT FOUR SEASONS
Perfect for: Panoramic pampering
The lowdown: In 2000, the Four Seasons
hotel on Park Lane added an extra oor to
the top of the building, which it dedicated
entirely to its spa. So it's no surprise that great
views of the surrounding area are guaranteed
- even in the sauna. Indulgent highlights
include a womb-like, blue-lit space featuring
a plunge pool with an underwater reclining
bench and manually operated jacuzzi jets,
and cosy post-treatment pods with cushions
and sheets to decadently op upon. The
majority of treatment spaces overlook Hyde
Park, including a couple's room boasting a
(partially smoked) glass wall to gaze through.
Tried and tested treatment: I tried the
Black Diamond Facial, which is tailored
to male skin and uses products from the
HOMMAGE range, containing nutrient-rich
black diamond dust for a thorough exfoliation.
After having my face steamed, exfoliated,
extracted, massaged and moisturised, my
skin felt entirely puri ed, while a neck and
shoulder massage was the ideal nish.
Prices: The Black Diamond Facial costs £125
for 60 minutes.
Other 60-minute treatments start at £125.
