THE CUERVO CANTINA

This classic cocktail made with grapefruit soda is Mexico's

most popular Tequila mix. The version served at Skylounge

will transport you right to Central America.

Glass: Highball

Method: Wet the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and place

the glass in a dish of Maldon sea salt. Fill the glass with ice and

measure the Tequila and lime juice into it, before topping it up

with grapefruit soda and garnishing with a grapefruit wedge.

50ml Jose Cuervo Tradicional

15ml lime juice

grapefruit soda such as Ting

Grompo's Margarita

The ultimate paean to all things Mexico in London,

Café Paci� co o� ers a whole raft of di� erent Margaritas for

thirsty guests to try. This is one of the more re� ned options.

Glass: Martini glass

Method: Place the Tequila, Grand Marnier, half the chilli and

cordial in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled. Run the

chilli around half of the glass and add two lemon juice ice cubes.

50ml Maestro Dobel Tequila

20ml Grand Marnier

15ml elder� ower cordial

1 chilli (½ sliced and stirred with

the drink, ½ for a garnish)

2 lemon juice ice cubes

Glass: Rocks glass

Method: Blend all ingredients in a Jose Cuervo frozen

Margarita machine. (To make this at home simply add

all ingredients to a blender with ice.)

50ml Jose Cuervo Tradicional

25ml rose liqueur

10ml fresh grapefruit juice

10ml fresh lime juice

10ml homemade chocolate and hibiscus bitters

Mexican party den Tonteria has turned the Margarita on its head

and given it a disco makeover, complete with Champagne. Salud!

Glass: Champagne � ute

Method: Blend all ingredients except the Champagne and

sugar cube in a Jose Cuervo frozen Margarita machine. (To

make this at home simply add ingredients to a blender with

ice.) Pour the frozen Margarita into the glass, then top up with

Champagne and add a blue curaçao-soaked sugar cube.

45ml Jose Cuervo Tradicional

22ml Cointreau

22ml fresh lime juice

15ml sugar syrup

Champagne

1 sugar cube soaked in blue curacao

RITA'S, HACKNEY

Hibiscus is a popular � avour used in drinks in Mexico. This fun

take on a hibiscus-� avoured Margarita in hip Hackney diner

Rita's is an inspired option for washing down their

chicken wings or pork belly.

Glass: Takeaway cup

Method: Blend all ingredients in a Jose Cuervo

frozen Margarita machine. (To make this at home

simply add all ingredients to a blender with ice.)

40ml Jose Cuervo Tradicional

20ml fresh lime juice

20ml homemade hibiscus syrup*

10ml triple sec

* Simmer dried hibiscus � owers in water, strain and keep the

water. Add caster sugar to the liquid (at a 2:1 ratio of hibiscus

water to sugar), allow the sugar to dissolve and let the syrup cool.
