The leaves are falling, the mercury is plummeting, and
our winter coats are being brought out from the back
of the wardrobe and dusted o� . Autumn is here and
with it come some familiar and delicious � avours:
cinnamon, pumpkin, crisp, freshly picked apples and
hot roasted chestnuts all start to make an appearance.
Just as the seasons change from sunshine and picnic blankets to
reworks and to� ee apples, so too do our drinks move on from the
likes of Pimm's and Spritzes to Old Fashioneds and Manhattans.
Crisp autumn days and frosty, wintry nights call for something a
bit more fortifying and comforting - the sorts of drink that can be
found on the following pages. Whether you're looking for a tipple for
two around the re or a batch of something delicious to slake the
thirst of the hordes visiting on Bon re Night, there is a recipe here to

The window for alfresco imbibing was all too brief, but the
upside is cosy cocktails to warm the cockles
PEDRINO RYE FIZZ
The clever team at The Connaught's Coburg Bar created this
perfect autumnal sip that combines the new Pedrino alcoholic
tonic with warming rye whiskey.
50ml rye whiskey
20ml apricot purée
20ml egg white
15ml Luxardo cherry liqueur
10ml lemon juice
Pedrino Premium Alcoholic Tonic
Glass: Small tumbler
Method: Dry shake all the ingredients except for the Pedrino,
then add ice to the shaker and shake again. Strain into glass and
top with Pedrino. Squeeze a lemon zest over the top and discard.
